Overview
I teach Software Engineering and Information Science at the School of Computing and Creative Technologies (SCCT), University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol.
My teaching is informed by a decade of industry experience and focuses on developing practical, inclusive, and transferable skills. My teaching emphasises applied software engineering practice, collaborative and reflective learning. I aim to support students in developing both technical expertise and an awareness of real-world impact.
Previous Roles
I previously taught Computer Science and Software Engineering at Cardiff University, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
During this time, I served as the inaugural Lead Teaching Associate where I represented the teaching team at School Board and education committees, worked with academic and professional services staff, supported teaching development and organisation, and promoted collaboration and inclusive teaching practices.
I hold Fellowship of AdvanceHE (FHEA).
